Education is one of the most important and prominent tools capable of bringing about positive and significant change in children's lives across different aspects. That is why Save the Children Jordan does not hesitate to direct its utmost efforts to make this right accessible to children and emphasize that it is a top priority that should not be overlooked. Through various programs and interventions, the organization works to return children who drop out to school, enhance access to good and quality education, and cater to the needs of children with different mental and physical abilities, no matter their circumstances. The organization also ensures to raise awareness and highlight the importance of early childhood education, as it is just as important as basic or secondary education and strives to make it accessible for all children to prepare them for school.
Save the Children Jordan is one of the leading providers of early childhood services as it manages early education centers located in the governorates and refugee camps in Azraq, Zaatari, and Irbid. These centers accommodate children aged 3 to 5 years, including children with disabilities, and work on preparing them for basic education by providing them with psychological, social, and emotional support, as well as academic education, such as, writing, reading, and mathematics..
The organization also works on providing trainings for parents and caregivers to enhance their ability to contribute to the development of their children and improve their academic performance. In addition, the organization offers a variety of trainings to local institutions so that a positive change at a community-level can be achieved. These trainings will also help increase the abilities of local institutions to support and care for the children of these communities.

In response to the Syrian crisis and what it left behind from out-of-school children and others being exposed to violence, Save the Children Jordan operated 12 educational centers under the title "Makani", as well as 44 educational tents in host communities. These centers and tents provided children with literacy and numeracy classes to prepare them for school, in addition to providing supportive and innovative educational activities for children with learning disabilities. As part of these educational activities, they ensure to use building blocks (LEGO bricks) that add a fourth dimension to play-based activities, as well as leverage technology and digital games to improve numeracy and mathematical skills.
The organization also directed its efforts towards providing safe learning environments within schools and classrooms and ensured that children who were exposed to violence were empowered and supported through its training workshops. Children dropping out of school is one of the main problems that the organization focuses its attention on. And through this program, it aims to return children from across the Kingdom back to their schools and ensure that they are in a safe and encouraging educational environment. The program also works on identifying the different challenges that hinder the educational process, such as child labor and child marriage, and then works on finding appropriate solutions to them. Through case management services, children and their families receive cash assistance to cover educational opportunities.
Since the outbreak of Covid-19, the program continued to provide children with protection and cash assistant to access education, as well as support the Ministry of Education’s efforts to facilitate children’s access to the ministry’s e-learning platform. In addition, the program provided school principals with a number of trainings to guide them on how to make classrooms a safe and encouraging place for children, thus reducing the number of children dropping out
